Show Hesperia Science Teachers How Ban Phones in Schools at the CUE Conference

Hey everyone!

We recently had the pleasure of meeting up with some fantastic Physics and science teachers from Hesperia at the CUE Conference. It was a great opportunity to chat about one of the hot topics in education today—how to manage cellphones in classrooms without having to ban phones in schools outright.

Keeping Phones in Check with the Multi-Tiered Safe Pouch®

We got to show off the Multi-Tiered Safe Pouch® and talk about how it can help keep phone use under control during class. The teachers were really interested in how this tool allows students to have their phones on them without causing distractions. It's all about giving students access when they need it (like using their phone as a calculator in Physics) but keeping it out of sight and mind when they should be focusing on the lesson.

Making Discipline Easier

One thing we talked a lot about was how much easier the Multi-Tiered Safe Pouch® could make it to manage discipline related to phone use. Instead of a total ban, which can feel a bit harsh and isn't always popular, this system lets students reflect on when it’s appropriate to use their devices and when it’s not. This way, everyone knows the rules, and it’s easier to stick to them.

Simple to Start, Simple to Use

We also discussed how simple it is to get started with the pouches. Just like checking out a textbook or a lab kit, students can pick up a pouch at the start of the day and drop it off before heading home. The teachers liked the sound of that because it fits right into the daily routine without any fuss.

It was really great to connect with the teachers and share ideas on something that impacts pretty much every classroom these days. If you're struggling with how to handle phones in your school without having to resort to outright bans, something like the Multi-Tiered Safe Pouch® might be just what you need.

Looking forward to more chats and sharing more tips down the line!
