The Safe Pouch® system is a complete phone management ecosystem protected under a single patent. Every product in the system shares the same patented architecture, the same magnetic authorization tiers (Home, Teacher, Administrator), and the same operational procedures. A single sole-source justification covers the entire product family.

Safe Pouch Blue (Standard). The everyday-use pouch designed for the general student population. Soft neoprene construction with patented mechanical locking. Used for daily classroom phone management across all grade levels and student types. The foundation of any Safe Pouch deployment.

Safe Pouch Orange (Tier 2 Behavioral). The administrative-tier pouch for students requiring escalated intervention. Visually distinct (orange color) to support behavioral accountability protocols and MTSS/PBIS frameworks. Requires administrator-level magnet authorization to unlock. Used for students with repeated phone policy violations, behavioral contracts, or escalated discipline tiers.

PouchBook (Student-Personalized). The student-owned pouch for individual ownership programs. Allows schools to issue personalized pouches that students take home, return daily, or keep across grade levels. Supports family engagement, reduces school inventory burden, and creates student ownership of the phone management process.

Safe Pouch Pro (Rigid Premium Tier). The rigid translucent locking box designed for high-tamper environments. Features 4mm ABS construction, steel-reinforced grommet, charging pass-through ports, and capacity for phone plus accessories (charger, earbuds, smartwatch). Used in ISS rooms, alternative education programs, treatment facilities, front-office check-in, and any setting where tamper resistance and accessory storage are operational requirements.

A single sole-source justification covers all four products and any future product released under the same patent portfolio. Districts approving Safe Pouch under sole-source procurement today do not need to repeat the process when adding Pro, PouchBook, or any future tier. The decision to adopt Safe Pouch is a decision to adopt the patented system as a whole.

Exclusive Patented Capabilities

The following capabilities are protected under U.S. Patent No. 10,980,324 and are not available from any other vendor. Each capability addresses a specific operational requirement that procurement officers should document in their sole-source justification:

1. Multi-Tier Mechanical Locking with Tier-Restricted Magnetic Authorization

Each Safe Pouch locks mechanically — not magnetically — and releases only when a magnet with sufficient strength and the correct pattern is applied. The locking action is a physical mechanical engagement, not a magnetic closure that can be defeated with opposing magnets or electromagnetic interference.

Three authorization tiers are built into the lock itself:

• Home Tier — Intended for parental authorization, allowing pouches issued through PouchBook programs to be unlocked at home for evening device use

• Teacher Tier — Intended for classroom use, allowing teachers to unlock at the desk during instructional transitions or end-of-day dismissal

• Administrator Tier — Intended for escalated situations, allowing administrators to override standard authorization for behavioral intervention or emergency response

Each tier requires a specific authorized magnet. Lower-tier magnets cannot unlock higher-tier pouches. This patented mechanism enables decentralized authorization without sacrificing security or accountability. No competing product provides this combination.

2. Swappable Lock Architecture for Tier Reconfiguration

A single Safe Pouch can be reconfigured between authorization tiers by swapping the lock component alone — without replacing the pouch itself. This patented modular design allows schools to:

• Escalate a Blue (Standard) pouch to Orange (Tier 2) authorization when a student enters behavioral intervention

• De-escalate Orange back to Blue when behavioral goals are met

• Reconfigure PouchBook pouches between home and school authorization based on student progress

• Adapt inventory to changing student needs without ordering new products

The operational benefit is significant: districts maintain a single pouch inventory and adjust authorization as needed, rather than purchasing separate inventory for each tier. Procurement cycles are not required for tier changes. This patented architecture is exclusive to Win Elements LLC.

3. Integrated Safety System

Every Safe Pouch — across all product tiers — combines three patented safety features in a single integrated system. These features address the safety concerns most frequently raised by parents, boards, and emergency response planners:

Decentralized unlock architecture. Teachers unlock pouches at the student's desk using authorized handheld magnets. No central unlocking station is required. This eliminates dismissal-time bottlenecks at exits, prevents lockdown delays caused by central station access, and distributes operational responsibility across staff rather than concentrating it at a single point of failure.

Emergency cut-access. Every Safe Pouch is constructed with 2mm cotton webbing that staff can cut with standard scissors in seconds. In any emergency situation — fire evacuation, lockdown, medical crisis, severe weather — staff can release a locked phone immediately without needing access to an authorized magnet. This addresses the single largest objection parents raise about phone management systems: that students cannot reach their phones in an emergency.

Signal-friendly fabric. Safe Pouch fabric does not block cellular, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi signals. Locked phones continue to receive emergency alerts, AMBER alerts, weather warnings, and family communications. Critically, medical devices that communicate wirelessly with phones — such as continuous glucose monitors, insulin pumps, hearing aids, and cardiac monitoring devices — function normally while phones are locked in Safe Pouch. This protects students with medical conditions and supports IEP, 504, and ADA compliance requirements.

No competing product combines these three patented safety features in a single integrated system.

4. Proactive Replacement Model

Win Elements ships replacement parts with every order. This patented service model — built into the product itself — eliminates the operational disruption of traditional warranty processes:

• No warranty claim required — Replacement parts are pre-shipped, not requested after damage

Traditional warranty models require schools to absorb operational disruption every time a pouch is damaged. The patented Safe Pouch model eliminates this disruption by treating replacement parts as part of the original purchase, not as a future warranty service. As Win Elements LLC introduces new products, tiers, and capabilities under U.S. Patent No. 10,980,324 and additional patents subsequently granted, existing district investments remain fully functional. Schools adopting Safe Pouch are not committing to a single product that may become obsolete — they are adopting a patented system designed to grow without forcing replacement cycles.

This forward-compatibility commitment addresses one of the deepest concerns in school technology procurement: the fear that current investments will be obsolete in 3-5 years when new products are released. Win Elements has designed the Safe Pouch system specifically to prevent this outcome.

Consistent Patented Architecture

Every current and future Safe Pouch product operates under the same patented mechanical locking system, the same magnetic authorization tier structure, and the same operational procedures. Staff trained on Safe Pouch Blue today will operate Safe Pouch Pro without additional training. New products extend the existing system rather than replacing it. Operational procedures remain stable across years of deployment.

Compatible Magnetic Authorization Across Tiers

The authorized magnets a district purchases today continue to function with future tiers and products released under the same patent portfolio. Teachers do not need new magnets when new products launch. Administrators do not need to re-purchase Tier 2 authorization tools. The investment in magnetic infrastructure compounds rather than depreciates.

Reusable Training and Implementation Knowledge

The staff training, classroom procedures, dismissal protocols, and emergency response plans developed for the initial Safe Pouch deployment continue to apply when new products are added. When Safe Pouch Pro launches alongside the existing Blue, Orange, and PouchBook tiers, districts already using Safe Pouch do not need to restart their procurement process. They simply add Pro to their existing vendor relationship under the same sole-source authorization.

This forward-compatible architecture is a deliberate design principle of the patented Safe Pouch system. It is not available from vendors offering single-product solutions or from vendors whose business model depends on periodic replacement cycles.
